The Cider Cabin, Devon

The Cider Cabin is a small timber pavilion, built on the edge of a field overlooking a tree-lined river. The building is used as a place of retreat or as a social space to congregate and sample cider made from apples from the surrounding orchard. The Cabin provides a place to sit and enjoy the sun or shelter from the rain.  All materials used in the construction were either recycled or locally sourced.  The sweet chestnut external & internal cladding and larch structure all came from trees felled within the same valley as the site.
